Contracts of Employment
The law requires UK employers to issue an employee/worker a ‘written statement of employment particulars’ and a ‘formal offer’, before their first day of employment . This is known as the ‘principal statement’. Within two months of the employee starting their role, the employer must provide a ‘wider written statement’.
We offer contracts of employment (full terms and conditions), which include the full ‘written statement of employment particulars’.
A ‘contract of employment’ sets out the duties, responsibilities, rights and employment conditions for an employee working at an organisation and is a legally binding document between two parties. It will include:
- Contact information
- Description of the role
- Job responsibilities
- Start date
- Hours of work
- Salary
- Holiday entitlement
- Place of work
- Probation period and training
- Benefits
- Termination details
We offer ‘contracts of employment’ for employees/workers undertaking various work patterns:
- Full-Time
- Part-Time
- Annualised Hours
- Temporary
- Fixed-term
We offer a ‘formal offer’ letter, which is conditional (appointment being based on a required set of conditions) or unconditional.
The blank templates give you:
- Space for your company details and logo for a professional document
- Saves you time having to write one from scratch
