As the world is starting to get back to normal and here in the UK our government restrictions are lifting, so is the furlough scheme.

The government job retention scheme (furlough) will be reducing and the employer will be asked to contribute to the employee’s wages.

The government contribution levels can be found in the table below:

Wage caps are proportional to the hours not worked in 2021.

 

Employers can continue to choose to top up their employee’s wages above 80%.
