On 5 November 2020, the Government announced that the current Self Employment grant (SEISS – Self Employment Income Support Scheme) will be increased from 55% to 80% of trading profits.
This grant will cover the next 3 months (November 2020 to the end of January 2021). This will be paid out in a single instalment which will be capped at £7,500.
The Grant will also be extended to 30th April 2021. Therefore another grant will cover February to April 2021.
Full details of how to claim the next grant will be available from 23rd November on the Government website.
